Coaching in Hampshire

We in Hampshire are fortunate to have a very strong network of Junior Coaching at all levels, from beginners to world class standard. A good place to start is with the Junior Clubs in your area, so go to Juniors for details. There is also some adult Coaching available, particularly at The Westgate Badminton Centre.

All our Coaches are qualified, having undertaken Badminton England training courses, and have been checked with the Criminal Records Bureau.

Hampshire Badminton Coaches Association

* Membership is open to anyone with badminton coaching qualification.
* The Association was formed in 1976 and currently has 69 members.
* The Association's main aim is to encourage members to improve their personal badminton standards.

Regular activities:
* Courses/Seminars in conjunction with Hampshire Badminton Association Ltd
* Two Mixed Doubles American Tournaments each year for players who have never played at County level
* Friendly matches against coaches from other Counties
* 3 Newsletters each year
